I've been on that new-earth track forever
and the world hasn't changed for the better ~ or has it!?
Maybe it has !
Maybe what we knew for so long
is now revealing itself
and things are falling apart
People are falling apart
Shedding all that does not work anymore
What makes me move on is to give in..
With a mind having 'been there ~ done that' sort of thing,
but know so much more to discover
With my heart looking for a place to land and engage
With my spirit craving me to listen and live what I know
I know it is no longer a matter of raging against the dark powers
Or any other way of playing the old game
It's a matter of my own mind and heart
To feel what lifts and lightens me
What deepens my compassion and gratitude
To tune it to see behind and beyond
Look for the signs and the new stories, within my own heart
And sense how that is part of the greater mystery
I feel the tremors of a phoenix new to earth ~
I sense the whirling sprouts in the air
I see a new world not build from old bricks
but rising by a new spirit and
the foreseen unseen
It has been constantly calling me,
though I did not always listen
It has whispered to me:
There is more..
There is a new seed hidden in the ashes that wants to live
And no-one, nothing can stop it
Because that seed is meant to become..
It is much bigger than you
and the times you're passing through right now
It will reach beyond your lifetime
As it reaches way back before your body came into this form
It is coded in the circles of existence
It is coded in the earth itself
It is an energy within all living
A subtle force, will and worth
beyond your imagination
It's the source of creation
What you name it is up to you
It will not change because of you
It will find its ways through you
There is a new seed hidden in the ashes that wants to live
And no-one, nothing can stop it
